"QB Eli Manning said he'd never practiced in a baseball cap while the players around him wore their helmets. But he was on the field Monday at the Timex Center sans the hard hat. "He looked sharp," coach Tom Coughlin said of Manning, who practiced for the first time since suffering that gash to the forehead in the Jets game. "He got the ball out fast and made good decisions." Manning will play Saturday in Baltimore and hopes to be back in his helmet by Wednesday."
