I checked my e-mail to see if I had received any notices from AT&T concerning my newly ordered cell phone. No, so I called AT&T and went through the automated order checking and was given a FedEx tracking number and was also informed that it should be delivered to me by 4:30 PM - via FedEx, of course.
I needed to verify that the order has shipped and will be delivered on Friday as the sales agent told me - since I'll be at work on Friday but not on Monday. If the latter were to be the case, I needed to see if I could possibly get the shipping address changed to here at home.
Well, since I received a FedEx tracking number and have been informed that it should be delivered on Friday by 4:30 PM, I logged on to FedEx.com and plugged in the tracking number to check it out and sure enough - the tracking number is good - it shows that the order has been picked up and is in transit.
I'll post a notification when the package is delivered.
