It's 2:25 PM. The temperature is down to 97 with a heat index of 109 and there's 49% humidity. I've gone and looked and the skies outside are clouding over. I've heard noises sounding like thunder. However, no rain is falling as of yet. We have a 30% chance. The radar shows that rain is falling in areas around this neighborhood, though.
Rusty is content to hang out in the den and Sukiey is content to be on my bed. The temperature in the hallway remains at 75 and in my bedroom it's 76.1 degrees.
Shepard Smith [his full actual name is David Shepard Smith, Jr.] has talked about the heat in the Deep South and in particular in the State of Mississippi. He does understand the heat and humidity since he's from North Mississippi.
