This morning started off hot and steamy - we were at 88 degrees with a heat index of 94 before I ever left home to head in to work! Now it's raining in Jackson with thunderstorms in some areas - and the temperature has dropped down to 77 degrees, but I have no idea what the heat index is.
I left Rusty in the den, per my housemate's instructions. I'm sure that he's happy to be inside. I called and let her know that I had done this so she'll know to be careful entering the house when she comes in from work since she'll get home before I will.
