As of 12:34 PM it's 97 actual degrees. The heat index is 111 degrees. I brought Rusty in earlier today - I thought it just too hot to let him stay outside.
Currently in my bedroom it's 76.1 degrees and the thermostat in the hallway registers 75 degrees.
Oops - at 12:39 PM it has risen to 98 and 112 degrees - outrageous in my opinion. Rusty is content to be in the den where it's cool. Sukiey is curled up on my bed.
I called and left my housemate a message that I was bringing Rusty in. I said if she needed to talk to me about it, to call me back. I haven't heard from her, so I guess she's okay with my decision.
