As of 2:03 PM....it's 101 actual degrees with a heat index of 110 and a humidity level of 40%. I saw on the radar that there are pockets of rain, but it appears that none is anywhere around this neighborhood.
Rusty is comfortable in the den - I got a bowl and filled it with water and he immediately took a couple of big gulps of it after I put it down for him. Sukiey is curled up on my bed.
In the hallway the thermostat registers 75 while here in my bedroom the thermometer registers 77.5 degrees. However, it's comfortable in here as far as I'm concerned.
I've been staying hydrated as the news media says is necessary.
