It's noon, but I didn't get to sleep till sometime after 1:00 AM. Then Sukiey pawed at me and woke me up at 7:30 AM; I got up at 7:45 AM. Well, I got up and took my AM meds, then went and had breakfast. My housemate made her way out of the house and headed off to work while I was doing this.
Once I got done with breakfast and cleaned up behind myself, I went and took a quick shower, then got my Sunday School class newsletters ready to mail. I took off to the post office and mailed them and picked up my incoming mail - not much there - and then went on to the grocery store and did some shopping. I had some coupons that I used.
I returned from those errands and put everything away. I've since spoken with a co-worker and informed her that I wouldn't be attending the One Great Lunch Break today. I explained to her about the fall I sustained on Thursday evening and that I have difficulty sitting on a hard chair for very long due to the sore base of my spine and tailbone. She said that she understood as she had a similar fall sometime ago and it took her 6 months to heal from it.
I've brought Rusty in the house because it's hot once again - no surprise, since it's August, right?! Currently it's 94 with a heat index of 106 and 55% humidity. The chance of rain is 40% for today. Here in my bedroom it's 75.2 degrees.
