Sunday Afternoon Update......

I found my housemate's grandson was sleeping on the couch in the den.  I went out there, after having taken a shower and getting dressed.  I noted that all the lights were out, so I quietly made my way to the kitchen and turned the light on in there, then looked around the corner to see the 17 year old sleeping on the couch.  

Okay, I went and got the newspaper and brought it inside.  Then I went back to finish up getting ready.  I gathered all of my gear and hauled it out as quietly as possible to my car, then went back inside and shut off the light in the kitchen and locked the door; I got in my car and began backing down the driveway, lowering the garage door as I did.  

I headed into work, stopping at a fast food restaurant for breakfast to go; then I went to a gas station and used the ATM in there, then made a purchase in order to break the bill I had just gotten out of the ATM.  

I came on to work and parked, hauled my stuff inside and dropped it off.  I took my breakfast and drink to the Break Room and ate, then came back and reported for work.  

I took a break this morning and went to Sunday School.  I also stopped at the Welcome Center and picked up a 2 CD set of the Chuck Missler presentation from last Sunday night.  

I've since made a copy of the set for my housemate.  I've also finished reading Deuteronomy and have begun Joshua; I'm at chapter 16 - Allotment for Ephraim and Manasseh.  

I've also typed out the newsletter for my Sunday School class and will get it sent out later on today.

It has rained in this part of Jackson even though the radar did not show any rain in the City.  However, Channel 3 reports that we have dropped to 82 degrees from an earlier high of 95.  Other areas of the state have dropped their temperatures as well.
