LSU Defeats North Carolina 30-24 - College Football Picks, Odds & College Football Scores - UNC does have a bit of firepower on O though. They have two good receiver's in J. Boyd and the #8 guy (name escapes me right now) who will probably be playing on Sunday's. Their problem is a weak o-line and QB play. In many ways, LSU and UNC mirrored each other last season.

LSU earned a 30-24 College Football Picks victory over North Carolina on Saturday in Week 1 action at Georgia Dome. LSU was a College Football Odds favorite of  7.5 points and they did not cover the College Football Point Spreads. If you made a college football picks play on the total it just went over the total as it was set at 43.5 points by the College Football Odds makers.

Jordan Jefferson completed 15 of 21 pass attempts for 151 yards for the Tigers in the win. He was picked off 1 time by the Tar Heels defense. Anthony Elzy rushed for 46 yards for North Carolina, while Johnny White added 29 yards. T.J. Yates threw for 412 yards for the Tar Heels, while receivers Jheranie Boyd and Zack Pianalto had 221 and 74 yards respectively. LSU lost the offensive yardage battle to North Carolina 436-313 yards in Saturday's game. North Carolina had more first downs as that total ended up 20-11.
