LSU, the nation’s leader in sacks entering Saturday, managed only one against Mississippi State. But what the Tigers’ defensive pressure generated against the Bulldogs was even better. LSU recorded its first five interceptions of the season, four the direct result of pressure on MSU quarterbacks Chris Relf and Tyler Russell, during the Tigers’ 29-7 win at Tiger Stadium.
