"Brett and Deanna Favre are heading to Minnesota today so the NFL quarterback can rejoin the Vikings for his 20th season, a highly placed source has told the Sun Herald.
The Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported earlier today that kicker Ryan Longwell, guard Steve Hutchinson and defensive end Jared Allen were all absent from Vikings practice this morning and were en route to Hattiesburg for a visit with Favre.
The source told the Sun Herald that the Favres returned to Minnesota with the players. He is expected to join camp."
