I went to the doctor's office this morning - to see the nurse practitioner. She knew exactly what I was talking about with the fall I had as she said she had a similar one herself sometime ago. She sent me for x-rays to make sure everything was fine, but an exam did reveal a serious bruise on my backside.
I later got a call from her and she said that the x-rays revealed that there could be a hariline fracture, but without more definitive tests - MRI or CT Scan, it was hard to know for sure. Anyway, we won't do those since we're not putting me in a cast or anything like that.
She is calling in a couple of prescriptions and if weather permits, I'll stop by on the way home from work and pick them up. They will consist of a muscle relaxer and pain medicine.
Currently it's 75 with a thunderstorm in the area. Perhaps by the time I leave work, the rain will have calmed down.
I did not receive my cell phone from AT&T today as I had been told to expect. It seems that their system didn't pick up the entire of the shipping address that I entered and so the delivery driver didn't know where in the building to deliver it to. So, I've got to make a trip to Richland on Monday and pick the package up from the FedEx facility. It's easier to do that than to have the package rerouted. If I knew I could get the guys here to accept it for me on Monday, I would do that, but I'm not sure they'd be willing to do that without asking them.
