Here I am posting an update for Wednesday morning. Sukiey is curled up on the bed - she is the sleepingest cat that I have ever seen.
I got up shortly before my housemate left for work and had breakfast, then I went and took a shower and got dressed. I went on to the post office and picked up the mail, then headed over to the grocery store and picked up a few items that I failed to get when I went on Monday.
I returned home and put the groceries away, then got started with doing laundry. I'm in the midst of it right now. One load is in the dryer and the other load is in the wash - I stopped it in the rinse cycle. When I get done with my laundry later today, I'll put my housemate's laundry in the dryer and dry it for her.
I understand from a Twitter post by Greta Van Susteren that something big in the political world is about to happen. I'm going to see if I can find out what she's talking about.
Last night went on to read more - 1st Samuel and made it through chapter 8. That's at the point where the nation of Israel is asking for a king like all the other nations have and while Samuel isn't happy about the idea, God tells him to go along with it.
I'll resume reading more sometime later today.
This is all I have for now....
