NEW ORLEANS — After starting slowly on offense in their exhibition opener last week against the New England Patriots, the New Orleans Saints looked like the Saints of 2009 on Saturday night.
Playing in the Superdome for the first time since winning Super Bowl XLIV in February, the Saints scored touchdowns on four of their six first-half possessions en route to a 38-20 victory over the Houston Texans.
The Saints rolled up 275 total yards in the first half as quarterbacks Drew Brees and Chase Daniel each led scoring drives on two of their three series.
