I learned that I could request a signed bookplate from Karl Rove; check out the tab for Autographs ~ Addresses for the address if you're interested in sending for one.
The bookplate is for his book Courage & Consequence: My Life as a Conservative in the Fight. I finished reading the book this afternoon. It was lengthy, yet wonderfully and masterfully written. I enjoyed reading it.
I have prepared a letter requesting a signed bookplate and also got a #10 [letter size] envelope addressed to him and put the printed letter inside along with an SASE [check size] for him to send it back to me. Of course both envelopes have stamps on them. I decided to use the Animal Rescue stamps instead of the generic looking Forever stamps for this mailing.
I plan to stop at the post office in the morning for the mail; I'll send this out to Karl at that time.
