LSU football: Les Miles said Tigers are coming out strong in 2010

 HOOVER, Ala. - After a total re-evaluation of his football team in the off-season, LSU coach Les Miles said the Tigers will come out with a purpose from the start of the 2010 football season.

 The Tigers will need to with North Carolina waiting for them in Atlanta in the Chick-Fil-A opener, a game Miles said the voted unanimously to play in.

"That gives them ownership in this decision," Miles said at SEC MEdia Days. "I think their preparation has been with a purpose, and the purpose is to play well and win the opener. 

"We need to start fast. we're not going to have time to gain speed and gain momentum; we've got to start fast."
