HOOVER, Ala. — A party hosted by a sports agent in Miami has high-profile NFL prospects from Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina at the center of an NCAA investigation.
LSU cornerback Patrick Peterson, a potential first-round pick in the 2011 draft, said Friday he is in the clear.
“I didn’t hear anything about it until the last week,” Peterson said. “I had nothing to do with that party.”
Peterson joined coach Les Miles and teammates Jordan Jefferson and Kelvin Sheppard for LSU’s session at Southeastern Conference Media Days.
