Apologizing to Sukiey!!

This morning I was heading from the bathroom to my bedroom to get my purse and a couple of other things that I needed when I heard a loud screech - a loud squawk - coming from Sukiey.  I realized immediately what I had done....

I had - totally accidental, unintentional - stepped on her.  She was in the hallway and underfoot and so I stepped on her and she let me know it.  


She raced away, ran into my bedroom and jumped up on the bed.  i went to her and started calming her, soothing her and petting her, plus I was apologizing to her for stepping on her.  I didn't mean to step on the cat but I didn't know she was there or I would've went around her.  Sukiey forgave me - as she started licking me.

My housemate was not home, so she didn't hear this or I'm sure she would've come out of her bedroom wanting to know what that noise was.  I plan to tell her about it when I see her tonight.
