Brett Favre says long-term injury isn't a concern for him: 'The damage has already been done'
In yet another sign that Brett Favre may return for a 20th NFL season with the Minnesota Vikings next season, the QB gave a revealing interview to Men's Journal magazine in which he indicated doing more damage to his body isn't a big worry.
Favre had surgery in May to repair his left ankle, the second straight year he's gone under the knife. The 40-year-old told Men's Journal he's made his peace with how his injuries will affect his body later in life:
"Playing another year probably isn't going to make a difference; the damage has already been done."
