My Day Off - Wednesday....

Good afternoon!  As you've seen, I've been rather active with my posting today. Also, as I've made clear, I'm a fan of the  LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints football teams [plus baseball in LSU's case]. So, I've been posting items of interest related to both of the teams, although mainly the New Orleans Saints.  


A friend told me Monday night about the Saints' planned tour and that there is to be a stop in Jackson.  I went to the Saints' website and located the information and posted it.  I also called her and left a voice mail concerning what I had found out about it.  I've made a note about it on my calendar; I'm off Monday, July 26th, so I have every intention of attending the event - camera in tow!!  When I find out more details about the event, I'll post them.


I've been at home all day long.  The only time I went out today was to pick up my housemate's mail.  Other than that, I've been inside.  It has looked like rain at times and the sun has broken through as well.  When I did go out to retrieve the mail, I found it was not too bad temperature-wise.


This morning I was eating breakfast when my housemate left for work.  I finished and cleaned up behind myself, then took a shower and got dressed.  Once that was done, I went on to do 2 loads of laundry.  Those are complete.


I watched the FIFA World Cup match between Germany and Spain - Spain won 1-0 and will face the Netherlands on Sunday on ABC at 1:30 PM CDT.  


I've got the 4:30 PM news on and Barbie Bassett is showing the radar and it appears that the Jackson area could get some rain today, though those chances will decrease as the week progresses.  


I've been comfortable in my bedroom all day long - at times I've found it to be actually a bit on the cool side.  Currently we're at 92 and the heat index is 98. The temperature in my bedroom is 76.3 and the humidity level is 48%.  


Tonight at FBCJ the Single Adults are kicking off a visitation event for July.  I opted not to participate tonight, though I may go next week.  I'm not sure about that yet, however.
